Because a supportive environment can go a long way

At Milestone Group Homes, we believe that supporting individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities throughout their lives is necessary so they can to live and fully participate in their communities. This support should primarily come from their families due to the role they play in their respective lives. However, such support must also include focus on individual development to promote self-sufficiency and to prepare them to live independently.

To address these, our home group provides Individual and Family Support Services. Created and developed through flexible and comprehensive strategies built alongside the individual and their respective families, this service focuses on the emotional, physical and material well-being not only of the entire family but also of the individuals themselves.
